Trust in institutions is low.

Open source seems like it matters now more than ever... Says the guy who isn’t even an open source purist(I know, don't at me graybeards!). ;)

Canada scrapping its digital services tax means tools like Office 365 won’t suddenly spike in price. That’s a win for every business.

But it’s also a reminder: you can’t control everything, but you CAN own your goals, your systems, and your strategy.

The firms winning right now aren’t the biggest, they’re the ones who answer faster and make it easier to work with them.

Friction loses clients.

The Canadian election just reminded us how quickly things can change.

In a world this volatile, clarity and stability aren't nice-to-haves, they're essential.

Tech debt doesn’t age like wine. It ages like milk.

Truly inspiring seeing folks come together over the weekend.

People are pushing back against systems that weren’t built for them. In tech and in business, we need to do the same.

Most teams don’t need more tech, they just need to unlock the value in what they already have.

Inclusion isn’t discrimination. It’s just making room at the table for folks we previously pretended didn’t exist.

Oof. The news just keeps coming hard and fast.

How is ransomware still a thing? A solid immutable backup plan is no longer optional.

The talking heads are talking.. rightfully so.

Be it war plans or IP, nothing stays confidential when insiders ignore existing secure systems.

Why is it easier to spend money fixing tech problems than using tech to fix business problems?
March 24, 2025 at 9:01 PM
If a team doesn't believe a system will make their life easier, they will avoid it.

I wonder if there will be tariffs on saas...

...that would be insane. Welcome to 2025?

TFW you know cybersecurity is 70% a leadership issue, and only 30% tech.

The world is a bit wild right now. News moves too fast, tech keeps changing, and nothing ever just works. But there are still people trying to make things better, cut through the noise, and help where we can. Stay kind, stay curious, and don’t forget to 2fa everything.

Also, hey 1st bsky post! 🖖
