My two cents about the #StarTrek movie announcement: we have had at least a half dozen false starts about a new film since Beyond hit theaters. I am pessimistic that this project will come off the ground and the decision to have it disconnected from the nearly 60 year history is already not good.

The vitriolic reactions to this preschooler series is unjustified. You don't have to like everything that Star Trek puts out, but this series really isn't for the adults. If it gets kids excited about STEAM and Star Trek, then I'm all for it!
