I've been passionate about severe weather, hurricanes, and tornadoes for 3 decades. But never formally studied. Taking time to self-learn meteorology now though.

A big part of meteorology for me is actually understanding the why of it, which means the math.
Looking for any calculus/linear alg resources easily accessible online.
I took an intro to calc in uni 16 years ago so it's not all foreign, but it'll take time to relearn.

I remember sitting in front of the TV in August 1992 watching radar and satellite loops of Hurricane Andrew. I was hooked on weather from then on. Twister in '96 cemented it.
