1.Relatively novel issue area = research/publication playing catch-up.2.Disciplinary preoccupations/boundaries (@andrewdwyer.bsky.social).3.Reluctance/difficulty identifying criminals as strategic actors. 4.Loads of research/interest in adjacent fields eg criminology. 5.We do recognise the problems!
