Much appreciated. For me it is more about supporting Harman while they work into the color negative market. The film can be cool--I've been very happy with a few shots--but it is more temperamental and less predictable than slide film: a fun challenge to work with...sometimes, haha.

You got it. The king tide washed them up into the coastal vegetation--where the remained stuck after the tide went back out.

Thanks for sharing, man. When a shot really catches my eye, I like to think about why and let the photographer know what sucked me in--offer a little more than just a thumbs up, haha. Great shot, man.

Killer shot. The combination of the bright colors and the hard transitions between foreground elements and the reflection really slaps--taken as a whole, my eye sees it as contrasty merging of perspectives, more akin to a multi-exp than just a reflection shot. Nicely done!

Haha, I second that...at least until after Thanksgiving. This was an idea I had for a while. I eventually bought a Santa costume to force myself to execute on the concept, haha.

The 50mm f/1.2 has always served me well when the f/2.8 on the 24-70 couldn't cut it, but I still wonder at times if the 35mm f/1.4 is the one that got away. You are super comfortable with wider angle lenses, which I think is a unique requirement to make the 35mm work and shine.

Much appreciated! It's satisfying to assemble a multiframe study and have it come together. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I just see AI as a self-selecting filter--an off ramp that makes it easier to sort out who has creative energy and an inclination toward effort and learning (process driven/joy-of-being-the-cause). In person, the difference is immediately identifiable and will have significant value in the future.

I'm quite interested, especially since the relationship between the two entities was behind the changes in motion picture film retail polices and this stuff currently occupies a color negative niche and price point already occupied by Kodak. Kodacolor won't change anything for me, but still...

Smart move. I should have checked the inside out. I don't think it is part of the chain. According to their site, Ralphs is owned by Kroger, and all operating locations are in California.

Nice! All the PNW people here recognize each other's locals, haha. I've walked by it a few times, but I never looked at it too hard, until this pass. I went, holy shit--is that a Ralphs? Not sure if it is a naming coincidence, or if it is actually a part of the chain from the Big Lebowski.
