This documentary exposes the plight of tobacco farmers in Malawi and lets them share, in their words, what a life of growing tobacco is really like.

New #research co-authored by Dr Raouf Alebshehy examines the sale of tobacco products near schools in Egypt, a country with an increasing tobacco market and significantly high smoking rates.

The study found tobacco products being sold within 100 metres at almost all schools studied.

In a new paper Tom Gatehouse, Karin Silver, Dr Raouf Alebshehy and Dr Mary Assunta from @seatca.bsky.social explain the methods used to produce the UK chapter of the Index.
