Where books are free, possibilities are endless. This #NationalEducationDay, we celebrate every child discovering the joy of reading. Our small member Rajshree read aloud to our librarian Premjyoti whenever she doesn’t know the word, she simply said “my babu.” That’s what true learning looks like.

At the heart of it all are our wonderful librarians, their passion and dedication bring the library to life each day. Because a library is more than a place it’s a community. Open, welcoming, and for everyone.

At Khirki Extension, the day was alive with voices and ideas, members lost in stories during read-alouds, adults deep in exam prep, colorful creations filling the art spaces, and our finance team working hard as always.

It was a lively day at the South Extension branch, from read-aloud sessions and reading fluency assessments to adult members preparing for exams, creative art activities, book circulation and more!

All these programs are possible because of our amazing and supportive librarians.
October 14, 2025 at 12:23 PM
Although the programs are consistent across all branches, the day-to-day experiences are different at each location.
October 14, 2025 at 12:23 PM
We are running a campaign for our members to receive more books from our supporter, Pratham. Go and donate to our members so that we can share more stories with them, and they can take home more stories to share with their siblings.

Your support makes this campaign successful.

These programs don’t just fill time they spark curiosity, boost confidence, and bring community together. Every donation helps us keep these doors open and these opportunities alive.
