Russia places a $1 trillion “bond” held by Ukraine, the Baltics & Poland. If Russia compromises a country’s sovereignty by overt or covert means, that bond is immediately released to those countries for their defence. Interest retained by those countries.

Russia is closer to economic collapse than many think or say out loud.
That’s the only reason they are pretending to negotiate. Desperately trying to buy time.

It’s not just Ukraine’s future on the line - it’s the Baltics and Poland also, and even conceivably the Balkans.
Russia will not give up until they are forced to.
They need to be put in the same position as Germany and Japan after WWII.

👏 keep mentioning the Budapest Memorandum, forced through by USA. And ignored by Russia. Russian “security guarantees” are meaningless.
The only way this ends is collapse of Russia due to economic pressures, or massive (far more than anything to date) military support to Ukraine from USA and NATO.

It is already in the constitution that it is illegal to start a war. Why the hell do they think it is forbidden to call the war in Ukraine anything other than a 'Special Military Operation"?

Instead Putin should wear an explosive neck collar at all times, & Zelenskyy holds the trigger for it.

Doubtful that Russian economy will survive 4.4 more years of war
