Jets Fan, Red Sox Fan, Nets Fan. Maybe the only fan of all three teams in the world. Proud Father. Always working to be a better husband. University of Delaware Softball Fan!
Why a yes vote for Andy Pettitte but not Manny? Assuming Manny is disqualified as a PED user which Pettitte is used as well. Just curious on how opinions on PED’s are evolving and not judging.

I remember us being the same fans who lost their minds when the Sox threw around stupid money and ended up with Hanley and Sandoval. Working the high end of the FA market has never proven to be a sure thing. Patience is never a bad thing. Save the judgement until at the team is in Florida.

Since I’ve followed baseball the owners always say they are losing money. Yet potential buyers of franchises are never hard to find. How many bidders would line up to own the Yankees if they were for sale? 5-20 bidders would be my guess and apparently all to own a business that loses money?

This is exactly what he did with his casinos. Try and hide the terrible results and hope things turn around before there are consequences. Whether it’s his father buying millions of dollars
worth of chips at his casino or firing the person that heads up the Bureau of Statistics, it’s criminal.

Not exactly the 1971 Baltimore Orioles starting staff that the Sox will be rolling out against the Astros this weekend.

Hard to believe that they will expect fans to again believe that this year yet again some story about the value teams were putting on their players …. The owners refuse to increase the payroll. I refuse to believe anything else until I see otherwise!

It’s this approach over the past few years, both in season and during the off season, that has fans questioning ownerships motives. This feels just like last year with ownership just wanting fans to stay engaged through August for TV ratings and ticket sales while they stay under the luxury tax.

It’s certainly to the Cardinals benefit to have a high end reliever off the market to increase the value of Helsley for sure. However it’s been a spotty record recently of the Cardinal GM actually getting back the appropriate value in a trade.

Same people who want a salary cap in baseball are the same who would lose their minds if a salary cap was ever implemented in their chosen career / industry. You deserve to be paid what the market bears for your talents. No sport product has benefited from a salary cap.

Big fan of the hat! I currently have a daughter playing softball at UD!

Couldn’t agree more. It’s become the lazy platform for Youth Team Sports and College Sports teams to continue to use but if X was a start up most of not all would not join due to its toxic posting.

After the Devers trade this is starting to feel like the team the Red Sox will go with the rest of the year with perhaps an additional arm added in the bullpen if they stay in contention. No positional room for a bat and impact starters get traded in the off season. Am I wrong / missing something?

Given the current state of the economy I’m not sure who was exactly in a position to splurge on a good bottle of Bordeaux. Two Buck Chuck to the rescue I guess!

Are the IG’s still on the job and handling the responsibilities of the role on a day to day basis? If they’re not in the building doing the job as I suspect they are then Trump has already won. Litigation will take a great deal of time and by the point they are back the damage will be done.

PT Barnum may or may not have said it but the saying “There’s a sucker born every minute.” is as true now as it was then.

I would say yes. East is not very deep. Raptors have some cap space to add another contribute in the front court. No reason the couldn’t be at least play in level good.

They’re not required to meet with them until DOGE is a funded and authorized department or any individuals representing the White House are officially named as working for the government / President.

When did it become acceptable to be this disrespectful? Being an adult and conducting yourself accordingly should not be something that is optional.
