Some discussion of William Saliba and occasional errors since Gabriel got injured.

Does he miss his mate, or is he just ... a bit tired?

You can say goal scoring is a problem for Arsenal, and it is, no question – evident throughout this season - and still acknowledge their keeper played a huge role in both games.

They are far more clinical - that's the level we have to get to via the market and more this summer.

Sore one tonight 😔

I really enjoy Barcelona losses, even though I like how they play. Those Cesc images are burned into my head since 2010.

What an extraordinary game of football.

What I wouldn't give for a mostly uneventful 2-0 Arsenal win tomorrow.

Strange game as you'd probably expect. Some 'minds elsewhere' sloppiness at times, but we did make some chances.

Rice fully deserved his goal, lovely run and finish after a good pass from Odegaard.

1-0 probably fair enough, but still work to do.

I have some doubts over the legitimacy of their second goal, but I have no doubts about how sloppy and careless that Arsenal performance was.

Their first goal was too easy, and our second half display was half-arsed – which I kinda understand in the context of this week, but it's still annoying.

Final thought: our own faults aside, it feels kinda typical of our season that a bloke gets sent off the weekend before and should miss the game but the red is overturned, and then it looks like he scores a winner against us with his elbow but VAR can't decide for sure he did or didn't. 😑
I know "focus" is on PSG etc, but we have a job to do in the Premier League too. Our recent form in the league has been pretty woeful, just 3 wins from the last 10 games.

I know we have problems with injuries, but we're being reeled in by teams behind us.

This was not good prep for PSG either.
