I wanted to do something for Pride this year and I had this Varis headcanon for so long that I sometimes have to remind myself that it's only me and like two friends who hc him as a trans man.
Idk, I think it would complicate his relationship with Zenos in a very interesting way.

A comfy boyfriend to sleep on.
On a whim I made a semi-monster Zoraal Ja design once, where he survived his trial, but got physically changed. It grew into a whole AU and a friend started shipping one of his OCs with this version of Zoraal in particular, and then... this happened.

Also there are these. They are lumped into the same category as the trash so they are really easy to miss, but they provide a permanent stat boost - I have found defense and health ones, but I wasn't paying them attention beforehand.

Earlier in one of the threads I grumbled that the 'treasure' you find is underwhelming. It's because it's vendor trash about 80% of the time - you collect these bits of garbage and when you sell them to a faction vendor, their faction gains strength.

Now back on the topic of positives: each friendly faction has a 'strength' meter, so I assume there will be a big final battle ME3 style and I'm genuinely looking forward to that one. They gain strength based on a number of factors, but mainly quests and... junk. Oh boy the junk.
