Most fan projects are driven by passion for the franchise that the fan game is based on (for me it’s ab lol). It’s also a good way to expand your portfolio for a future career in game development

All game devs and companies should do this but they don’t (maybe cuz of laziness, time constraints or both(?))

Ya lol, also the trilogy (ps3/xbox) main menu screen (it was the main inspiration before I realized space 2.0 used it for the episode selection aswell)
