I’m going to have a conversation with my 90-something grandmother about it tomorrow. I wonder about it from an educational perspective. These top tier predominantly white, affluent schools are great academically, but at what cost? What does it do to the psyche of our Black students?

Since my coworker and I are cool, she playfully pinched me for not wearing green. We all laughed, and I made a little joke about it.

Then, out of nowhere, the white lady says, “You pinched me too, and this can be categorized as workplace assault.”
