I don’t disagree that it needs more managers, I disagree that a highly centralised organisation of that scale can deliver consistent outcomes.
It doesn’t matter though, nothing will change. We’ll continue to get worse outcomes than other European and (some) Western countries.

I was randomly looking at organisational size, it’s not a surprise that the outcomes of the NHS are so patchy. It’s too big.

I think the Tories have an opportunity to be completely honest about what we need to do - they’re going to get hammered either way.
