Most bonkers part of the story for me is that the Murdoch money was donated via News International (now News UK) - owner of The Times, The Sun, TalkTV etc.
In other words, a media company donating to a political pressure group.

Since silence is not an option for me when Brexters pipe up, here’s what I’d say at Christmas dinner: “Now that your Brexit vote has made the rest of us poorer, wouldn’t it only be fair for you to be taxed more?” Then just smile sweetly and ask them to pass the gravy 😀😉

I dropped anyone who voted for that mess like a bad habit. The only engagement they get now is me loudly suggesting they should be taxed more indefinitely - purely out of spite and for my own entertainment.
