Sober for 𝟑𝟎 years TODAY! (11/11/95)

I have triggers & temptations even occasionally now, but l’ve learned to be grateful for what I have.

Is it where I’d hoped to be? No.

Would I trade it for anything? NO!

Oddly, the brain surgery & strokes have helped me grow.

November 2, 2021: I had Gamma Knife Radiation. They screwed 4 screws into my head to hold the frame in place. Then hit the tumor w/ 192 beams of radiation all focused on 1 spot.

After brain surgery in ‘18, radiation in ‘21 was a shock. Another MRI in the next month. #BrainTumor

8 years ago today: My old radio show, #TBPC, paid tribute to 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 by playing 2 hours of his music. We featured music from 18 albums, 31 songs in all.

It was heard on WICR-FM 88.7 in Indianapolis and all over the globe on the station’s livestream.

Five years ago we lost the #GOAT: Eddie Van Halen. One of the reasons I played in the first place. His playing and infectious smile made me feel like I knew him. We all did. The world is a little less fun without him.
