Like, in classical music, we don't say that Mozart wrote in a specific genre. He had a *style* and wrote within the conventions of his time and while that style has quantifiable qualities but we don't say he invented "Neo Austrian Court Punk" or whatever. He just wrote like Mozart.

to be clear, Kawaii Future Bass, and it's pioneering artist (according to Wikipedia) Snail's House, both slap so hard. But I'm just not sure we need this amount of specific language for this stuff when there's so many other terms to describe the music already. But what do I know.
