In my quest to further understand Salesforce DevOps Center.... pushed my first work item into products. Wow... so much easier the Inbound/Outbound Change Sets. Can even go into GitHub and see my changes in the code!

Took me a bit to get working correctly but now have 2 working Dependent Picklists working in my screen flow. Better yet, I'm using another pick list determining if you can see the Dependent Picklist or not. Can you tell I'm having fun? #Salesforce

one of the new features in the Spring 25 release of Salesforce is adding attachments to the email in flow. Now just have to figure out how to access and filter by file name.

Just watching Jim Acosta resign from CNN. I've really cut back on my watching or hitting their site since bishop Mariann Budde has bigger balls than anyone running CNN. Glad he took a stand for what's right. Wish him the best.

I'm really digging Salesforce Flows. I created a Costing Lite function a while ago with all sorts of formula fields and work flows (cuz of the formula character limit)... weird ways to update fields since you can't roll-up a formula... I'm doing it all with 1 flow!

My SSO DevOps issue has been solved. Turns out it's an Azure problem when using SSO SAML in Salesforce. Go into the Single Sign On Settings and update both (there's 2) Request Bindings to HTTP POST instead Redirect. Now connecting using custom domain will work.

Ok... I think I've just sent Salesforce into a tizzy with my case. I'm play'n around with the DevOps trying to connect to my production org. My org is using SSO which won't allow DevOps to connect to unless you use user name & password at salesforce.com. But I have that did abled per our security.

Had an issue with one of my Flows. Screen flow with an Action Button on a page view. Gave users permission for Flows but wasn't working since it sends out an email when button is clicked. Turns out that the user's email account wasn't verified. Knew it was something simple I over looked.

Yes.... I'm finding out the hard way that sending emails out of a Salesforce Flow doesn't work in sandboxes

with my quest to using Flows for my costing lite project. Was having trouble getting a variable working correctly if there was no value for a cost. As soon as I set the initial value to 0.00, worked like a charm.

Made a huge hurdle this week in my quest to tackle Flows. My requirement in Salesforce is to create a costing lite. Used to use several fields with formulas and craziness and everything adding up into another field. Created 1 flow updating 1 field. I'm happy.

been having fun with trying to get multi pick field values into a formula for taxation in Salesforce. Had to use a formula to convert into a text field and then use the CONTAINS function to check if the value exists:
IF(INCLUDES(field_name, "value"),"value; ",null) &

When you need a formula for a report but don't want to create a new field on your object in Salesforce, don't forget to use a Row Level Formula. Unfortunately you are limited to 1.

little trick if you have trouble entering a Flow with a new record. Create a Boolean formula resource with ISNEW(). Then use a decision based on the formula to enter into the Flow. #Salesforce #Flows
