One interesting idea would be that Cyn was always in control but the solver was always in the back of her mind just whispering ideas and Cyn eventually started to confuse those thoughts for her own

I kinda feel like it was more based on instinct just the way she said "I am the void the inevitable end" and "easier to assimilate than explain anyways" makes it feel like she is compelled to do it rather than just outright deciding to ice the human race
