He is, and always has been, shameless. This episode would have a powerful humbling effect on any (even relatively) normal psyche. Sadly, he is 100% abnormal and has an inhuman ability to never feel embarrassed or ashamed.

I do not know if Apple can track Chrome activity on their devices. My guess is not. But you’re in the minority using chrome on iPhone. Default safari dominates with 85-90% share. That provides Apple with more than enough data in their attempt to stay ahead of the curve in mobile search.

It’s Safari - Apple’s browser. Do you think google doesn’t track this activity (and MUCH more) on chrome and Microsoft for Edge?

It does not state they’re tracking *what* people are searching but rather the amount of times (google) search is being used on Safari. Given the stakes involved in internet search & that there’s likely a generational shift happening rn, it would shock me if they were NOT closely tracking it as a KPI
