My point is, I think Chism has a chance to be a guy on this offense but I think he’ll take time. I hope I’m wrong.

Good point. But after his rookie year, he was primarily a special teamer until his breakout in 2013. He only caught 11 passes in 28 games after his rookie year. But I guess his uniqueness makes it a tough comparison to Chism.

Just as possible: All this Efton Chism talk is just offseason noise and poor dude gets cut or lives on the practice squad forever and we’re all just thirsty for something to talk about in June.

Why? Dude wasn’t happy getting bombs thrown to him by Josh Allen on the regular. What makes people think he’s going to be cool with Drake’s growing pains behind a still questionable OL. This is still a rebuild and Diggs hasn’t been the poster boy for patience and grace.

I hate it. I don’t think the OL will be as fixed as people think and I’m afraid of what Diggs’ weird passive-aggression will do to our beautiful boy when things get hairy. I don’t even know if this is better than nothing.

Trade #3 for multiple 1sts and 2nds… trade the two new firsts (‘25 & ‘26) for Garrett. Take an OT with their 2nd rounder where all the OT value seems to be anyway… Not something I thought of until now, but I wouldn’t hate.

Any way we could convince him to come over as Vrabel’s OC? Not that I want Vrabel, but it feels depressingly inevitable.
