On the stage 2 job, yes we did.
I did the clutch and chain drive in one sitting and then the stage 2 work on a different occasion. Stage 2 was cams, push rods valve springs and tune.

No, it wasn’t a must, just did the chain conversion when I replaced clutch plates. Since we were in there, we said why not? 🤙
I had a sporty I did the chain drive conversion on and loved the amount of torque it generated. This one though, makes that sporty feel like a moped! Lol
