I’m from a small town in ND. We had (1) Mormon family & a Doctor from Pakistan (Muslim) for a few years. It wasn’t until I went to college waaaay out of state that I met any population of Jewish people. That class, I have a few guesses at the school, had probably not met anyone who wasn’t Christian.

And Big State U. might have the same job prospect issues but it only costs $10K - $20K a year. That’s a lot easier to live in a studio apartment and pay down if need be.

Part of that is the inflationary costs of college tuition that is leading to the thought process. If they graduate with $200K in student loan debt and move into the parents basement after graduation because a degree in English/Philosophy/History doesn’t have corresponding salary potential. Then why?

I hate AI consuming (aka stealing) copywriting material, but at this point I’d be OK if AI hallucinated the end of A Song of Fire and Ice.

Heard him. Bad lag between end of question and reply. Bad interview too. Umpires aren’t the best speakers. Seemed like a nice guy though. (Al Czervik shrug)

Surprised he isn’t soliciting donations for a - to be started in the hazy distant future - religious school or something. Grifters gotta grift.
