Proud progressive.
Your comments ring hollow - you think it's ok to confirm a convicted billionaire (Kushner) to be Ambassador of France....and I was so proud of your 25 hour filibuster. Your words mean nothing to me now. Glad I cancelled my ActBlue account. Maybe I'll still contribute directly to AOC or Bernie.

So he's fine with a lawless president - as long as someone buys his soybeans. Bet alot of farmers like him were counting on USAID purchases - I HAVE NO SYMPATHY FOR HIM.

This is the same group of people and logic that caused Ninja loans, housing flipping and 2008 market collapse. It will end badly. Pandering to it may be good short term politic'ing BUT IT IS NOT GOOD GOVERNMENT. For goodness sake - WAKE UP!

And I wonder, wouldn't it be the greatest irony that bitcoin is a fraud that was created in 2008 - the year of the latest financial crisis?🤫

2/2 the country's citizens put their money into market speculation - involving derivatives, futures, options and investment certificates - all for tulip bulbs.

If crypto really is the future, then explain to me how it is different from "The Tulip Bubble": What happened in the Netherlands in 1637 is the blueprint for many examples of speculative frenzies in the world's history: in an incomparable attack of collective madness and boundless greed, 1/2

And for the record, Kamala lost because 90 million people did not care enough to vote. I bet a lot of them are caring now.

2/2 It can be argued that block-chain has some technical value in tracking ownership, validating transactions, etc. - but even it is not efficient for the amount of electricity/hardware consumed for the number of transactions validated.
March 24, 2025 at 11:01 PM
Wrong. Crypto serves no useful purpose other than the transfer of wealth via the "greater fool theory". It is not "money" just because it is built on block-chain technology. Money has something that stands behind it, the US Dollar, the largest military force in the world stands behind it. 1/2
