Happy bday to the best sis ever, @baskinator.bsky.social. She is the coolest, most incredible sis an older brother could ask for, and I couldn't be prouder of her for the amazing life she's built. She rocks, rules, and is diving through life in bullet-time, chill as a winter night in New York.

Vindication! I have been saying this since 2008 when I walked out of the theater with a slackened jaw.

FailurePiece is back with a discussion of a direct-to-Max movie set in the swamps of Louisiana called Caddo Lake. A twisty thriller with some cool elements and solid performances, does this one count as another dumped-to-streaming loser, or a true failurepiece?

After a long hiatus due to life, the universe, and everything, we return with FailurePiece Theater's 102nd episode, this time over Hellboy: The Crooked Man. A low-key comic accurate HB, or an epic disaster? Let's find out!

David Lynch taught me the difference between a movie and a film. I'll be forever grateful for that. Tonight, we have cherry pie.

Oh hell yeah. That is a Captain Hammer-style JERK--and that's how Guy Gardner should be!

Skeleton Crew is off to a solid start. The Goonies and E.T. called and they want their vibe back, but in the best way. It's all about Neel though. In my head canon he is Max Rebo's nephew, and he has a natural way with the keys.

Well, it looks like here is where I am going to be for a while. The other place is just too far gone to save. Nice thing is, everyone seems pretty cool.

Hey-o! We're back! We love some found footage horror around these parts, and we've recently discovered an overlooked gem that might just be one of the finer examples of low-key horror, especially for fans of the V/H/S series or REC. Listen in, won't you?
