They don't. The diaspora are largely looked at as illegitimate by those in Iran. Imagine having the gall to flee the Ayatollah, then sit back in your west LA coffee shop encouraging poor Iranians in Tehran to put their lives on the line. "Why aren't you protesting while I sit here in the US?!?!"

Technically, Iran wouldn't even have an enrichment program if the US would have sold them fuel rods for the US-built reactors in Iran (or allowed them to purchase fuel rods from a 3rd party) and if the US wouldn't have helped Saddam Hussein use WMDs against Iran.

Neither will anyone else you could possibly vote for, for the very reasons you already stated. So now you'll only vote for Biden if he says, "I can't do anything to help anyone because Congress is broken."

How is that Biden's fault? You're literally saying that Biden can't do anything because of Congress so you won't vote for him, even though every other president will be faced with the same situation. Sounds more like you're trying to discourage people from voting.

Can't do much if the party doesn't control both houses of Congress. So many people vote for POTUS and stop right there, leaving the rest of their ballot blank. You need to apportion some blame to those morons as well.
