I was *so close*.
I hope the staff at the Brighton i360, who played it, gets a severely itchy arsehole everytime they're in public!

Vinted have updated their sizing options, which were awkward enough for a fatty like me, but now I'm having to check all details and images 100 times before buying 54th-hand clothes for £3 each.
Details and pennies matter when you can't return things.

Is anyone else in the UK missing the latest episode of #GreysAnatomy from their Disney+?
It is supposed to be there, but nothing new has appeared.

"There were no signs."

Translation: "We didn't care enough to pay attention."

Well, it took a whopping 14 hours to update the laptop, only to find out that it doesn't support Windows 11.

So... fork out money I don't have on a new laptop, or simply never connect this one to the internet ever again?

I have too many files that would be devastating if lost.

Tilly Norwood | We can still fight back against the rise of creepy AI actors
AI 'actor' Tilly Norwood is said to already have a talent agent. The public response suggests audiences aren’t yet ready to embrace the tech.

At 12:50am, this morning, I said my final 'I love you' to my girl, Jet.
She passed in my arms after a medical emergency.
My heart is shattered.

Wednesday season 2 was... okay.
Not bad, but not as good as season 1.
It was missing a certain *something*.

If there is a season 3, I hope it manages to pull back to it's first season vibes.

Jet is a week out from surgery and counting down the days until the cone is removed.

(She yawned in the second picture, and it looks like she is screaming - I love it.)

Sister owes me £400. She was due to repay in full, today.
Instead she has promised to start an installments repayment, *starting in a month*. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I mean... maybe discuss that with me first?
I'm shaving pennies to survive, here, girl.

I don't get paid until Friday.
I have very little food in the kitchen.
My bank account is laughing nervously at how it is going to break the bad news to me...
August 12, 2025 at 4:08 PM
My original plan for tomorrow was to go and see Weapons.

Instead, I'm taking the cat to the vets for her £1,600 surgery that is about to wipe my savings clean, and then spend the day worrying about her until I can take her home.

I so rarely have good news that nobody ever really takes notice. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

But I have secured my benefits for another 3 years, meaning my financial situation will hold steady for a little while longer.

My disabilities were acknowledged and validated, for once.

This is 42.
Happy birthday to me... even if I am broke af and most people forgot my birthday. 😂
I ate a lemon meringue kronut, had an ice cream, and had a surprisingly low pain day.

Is there a problem with the @filmstories.bsky.social site? Myself and a few other people are struggling to get it to load. A couple of people even said they've been 'blocked from the site'.

Two weeks until my birthday, and my first gift arrived - it's a belter! It wasn't even listed on my wishlist.
My friend Mike got me a framed Revenge of the Sith signed poster.
Now to keep it safe until I find the *perfect* place to hang it.
😍😍😍😍

Always feels weird to put this out there, but I've been persuaded to update it and share.
My birthday is in a couple of weeks, so if anyone is interested, I have an Amazon* wishlist.

Question: How many times falling over nothing/falling down stairs is too many?

I think I'm at 2 (over nothing) and 1 (down stairs) just today, alone. And it's not even 3:30pm.

It's happening so much, lately, and I'm starting to think my legs/feet are protesting against the pain.

Yay, bruises!

Bank account: *Screaming in horror*
Body: *Screaming in pain*
Mind: *Screaming in confusion*
Insomnia: *Screaming in defiance*
Cat: You only have one hour until feeding time, then I start screaming, too...

Super excited to learn I have a phone assessment, in 2 weeks, with a non-medical professional, to assess whether I am disabled enough to continue receiving PIP.

I've done this enough times to know that I'll most likely have the benefits suspended, throwing me into financial chaos for 12-24 months.

Can we normalise all events giving ticket prices BEFORE sales begin?

Tired of going to Ticketmaster all excited for a show, just to find even the lower price is beyond affordable.

Knowing price ranges in advance means I can better prepare, or at least not add to site traffic for no reason.

If you are in/can get to Birmingham, you need to go see this.
I traveled from Leeds to see it (and kinda* want to do it again, soon).

Currently supping tea from my prize...

*Absolutely definitely.
