Here’s a good way to form “closed” chords for uke. Take a chord like Bb which many players dread. Finger an A chord with fingers 2&3 instead of 1&2. Move that shape up 1 fret and bar across 2 or strings to make the Bb. The chart shows how to get 8 different sounds with a change of the pinky.
