Remembered that there’s already a film of the Odyssey that’s a great example of why just making a carbon copy of a book is not always the best or most interesting way to do an adaptation.

It looks like it just explicitly amends the CALM act to include streaming TV (which is a grey area under that act), but part of the problem is that it seems like most enforcement of the CALM act is them just telling people to fill out a form on the FCC website if they hear a loud commercial.

It’s already a violation of the regulations from the FCC! They just don’t actually enforce it. So unfortunately I doubt another law will do much unless they are also creating positions to enforce the law.

This reminds me of one of my former workplaces where people would eat the top off the muffins and leave the butts. Sociopathic behavior. If you only want part of it, either take the whole thing or cut it in half!
