Good lord that takes me back. Decades ago a terrible babysitter let me and my brother watch this at waaay too young an age, and I’m still processing the trauma. I think I slept in my parents room for a month.

What’s so egregious is that
she could have just echoed the talking point that his mom has disavowed her words. While not exactly credible, at least it doesn’t ask us to nod along that an “abuser” who “belittles, lies, cheats, sleeps around and uses women” is just a boy who forgot his good manners.
