very much agree with you, to me her calling him Elias and him not being phased was supposed to show the intimacy that still exists between them despite everything.

A reborn revival would resuscitate me. I was always surprised by how well received it was in Japan and then how under the radar it was here despite how long the series aired

this is a baffling take to me. if i squint i guess it comes down to if you believe any of the people turned are at all themselves afterwards. like is Mary still Mary once she’s a vampire? and they believe she’s not and Stack didn’t consent to have sex with Not Mary?
