I spent the last of what I have on my card to get interview clothes, and my cash is locked up in my nightstand. if anyone's able to help me get back in the next hour it's greatly appreciated!

I can't entirely tell if I am or if I will be, which I hate. like, at least I wanna know, y'know? I usually assume I will be, which I also hate. I wanna be able to relax on my days off and not stress about getting kicked out.

I forgot to update but the plumbing seems to be fixed for real this time!

the plumbing issues were addressed last night, but apparently not solved because it's an issue again this morning. that's not on the plumbers, idk enough about that kind of thing to know what's going on or why it wasn't fixed. I just know it's already as bad as it was, if not worse

I mean, we're three months into that issue, but sure?

I do wanna be clear, it's not all of them. the shelter and the rest of the resources here are more or less, two different organizations. it's our understanding that poor communication between the two, and one not realizing how the other behaves, is the root of the problem

we reached out and got a director involved, plumbers were called and are trying to fix everything, and we are getting lectured and written up about bothering him on a sunday. as if 80 people with no functional bathroom isn't a bother. yes, I said people, not homeless people. we're people.

there are no signs of staff trying to contact their superiors or plumbers or anything, and they're guarding the only functional toilet, which is why I use the word riot lol. I don't know how much this is gonna escalate, but I know we're trying to reach out ourselves. fuck this lol
