...and ♀ is also Friday ("Viernes" in Spanish - "Veneris Dies" in latin" - Venus' day) named after Venus. Logic too.

Thus we have 2 symbols for three different topics, that don't mean the same but are deeply related: sexes, planets and days of the week.

* But also, ♂ is the symbol of Tuesday, the weekday, which in latin languages is named after the God Mars ("Martes" in Spanish)...

It is impressive reading how a symbol can be used for different items, but always keeping a link between them. Example (that led me to paint this page in my sketchbook)::

* ♂ is the male symbol (masculine/man) and ♀ the female one (femenino/woman).
