i really want to keep the kindle colorsoft but the literal 1.1oz weight difference is hell on my old lady arthritic hands. i picked up my basic for the first time in a week and the change is welcome and heavenly. somehow the bezel-less screen hurts my eyes more too. idk im old and it’s showing

i have read 15 books in 42 days, which is more a thing i could accomplish as a preteen. i did read 24 books last year between april and september, but this is unprecedented for adult me. i wonder what im avoiding.

there are many perks of working at a vet clinic, but my fav is getting free toys for my pets!!!! no fr it’s definitely discounted pet care bc i could Not afford to have 4 pets without that, but free laser pointer??? hell ye

i’ve been working on the same sock for over a month. i’ve knit nothing but socks, so i switched over to a tank top (the cindy top, if you’re familiar) just to prove i could knit something, Anything Else. i got to the finishing (decorative knot and icord edging) and switched back to the sock 💀

“smelling my age” has just boiled down to wearing whatever perfume i remember my mom wearing when she was my age. started with liz claiborne’s lucky you, then a dupe of gucci ii because she gave me the dregs of her real bottle and i fell in love. now it’s moroccanoil’s brumes de maroc. i smell good
