I dream of a lovely tablescape, but I’m too damn tired.

Z has taught me the merits of clean-as-you-cook, and then we eat on disposable plates. Classy AF over here, but we’re done with cleanup and everyone’s napping by 5:45.

As long as I can remember, we did a late lunch/early dinner around 3 or 4. I’ve kept that tradition going since I do most of the cooking now, primarily b/c I don’t wanna get up at stupid o’clock to get the bird in the oven.

I have a friend who lives in St Augustine. On really cold days, the schools put up “Beware of Falling Iguanas” signs. Yet another reason not to move to Florida. It rains iguanas.
