Could be, but would Thjazi have trusted Bolaire? From Bolaire's account, they had a hostile relationship. I guess Bolaire could be lying about that, but it seems pretty reasonable give Thjazi knew the secret about Bolaire taking over bodies.

I'm wondering why he would see a falcon as a fatal omen, given it was the emblem of his own rebellion. And certainly the Tachonis necromancer certainly seems to think it was dangerous to them, not positive. So strange all around.

Some of us really enjoy combat and the technical side of it, and also enjoy RP. Since I don't need any rules to help me RP, it only makes sense to play a game with a good combat base. I don't know why this is hard to understand.

We are so lucky Vic Michaelis got into comedy instead of serial murder

I wouldn't say that's true for the fandom in whole, but there is definitely a section that thinks Gurathin is the main character.
July 6, 2025 at 9:59 PM
Which was still better than the person who thought Gurathin should go with it, because he was so important.
July 6, 2025 at 6:02 AM
There was one person I saw who thought that Gurathin should explain to Murderbot how it should behave in the Corporation Rim, and arrange its travels for it and generally hold its hand.

I think 4 is the deliberate full-body shots to show that there are no sexual parts at all, not even nipples. Yes, humans can be sexual without any parts for it, but it still works against easy sexualization.

If you want mainstream roles, over 6'2 starts to become annoying to block, and over 6'4 will tend to get a resume filtered out before auditions. Can't costume off the rack, etc. Not a big deal once you are a name, but young actors will lie if too tall.
July 2, 2025 at 3:30 PM
It is very funny how tall the whole lot of the Skarsgards are, I'm pretty sure some of them are even fudging their heights down for casting purposes. Askars definitely is!
July 2, 2025 at 3:19 PM
Yup. They were still trying to execute the DeltFall strategy. What I'm curious about is are they going to tell us how it found them? I'm putting my money on LeeBeeBee leaving trackers in some of their stuff while everyone else was occupied with Murderbot.

Also, that unit was under combat override, so whatever limited creativity it was normally allowed was likely blocked.

Unless the whole rest of his family is lying about their height, and as actors they don't have a motive because over 6'2 or so is a disadvantage in casting, he's 2 or 3 inches taller than listed.
June 17, 2025 at 9:46 PM
I think it's probably because he's taller than ideal for mainstream roles. If you see pictures of him with his father and brothers, he's inches taller than them and they are all 6'3 or 4; one of his directors said he's 6'7. So he probably got used to lying on resumes and slouching at auditions.

You aren't very good at distinguishing AI, then. The opening credits are created in Cinema 4D and rendered with Redshift. Studio Elastic, director Hazel Baird. motionographer.com/quickie/elas...

Hmm! Try a different browser, or incognito mode in the one you are in? Extensions can often screw with things.

No, you can watch it on a non-apple device, at tv.apple.com , I'm watching on my Windows laptop.

It's nice to see the production team really were thinking about these things, it wasn't just an accident or an actor's personal take.

No, the Artificial Condition gender is "indeterminate" and the only other time it states gender on an id is "not applicable". It never uses a male (or nonbinary or female) cover id that we ever see.
May 31, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Yeah, I'm getting slightly frustrated with people trying to assign gender to Murderbot. Murderbot is not part of any gender binary, even to reject it! It's not nonbinary any more than it is male or female.

What is LRP in this context?
May 30, 2025 at 4:17 AM
The earlier imagined scene of it killing the PresAux team really did seem like it thinks it *should* want to kill these people, that's what rogues do, but it doesn't really have that desire. It just doesn't have any real guide for its future beyond killing.
