I follow with abandon academics, writers, artists, and others who make the world more intelligible and enjoyable, but I also likes me some silly stupid posts. As one other poster here has said, my apologies in advance for the dichotomy.
I see chilaquiles often mentioned as a great breakfast cure for hangovers. I don't drink hard enough to need them for that, but I am grateful to Mexican cuisine to accommodate me with that remedy if I ever do.

I know the Confederate flag is a sensitive topic these days, but I think it's important that we Americans acknowledge and accept our history, so I'm posting it today, the anniversary of Robert E. Lee's surrender of his forces to Ulysses S. Grant at Appamattox Court House in 1865.

At the Intrepid Air and Space Museum this weekend with my Scout troop. At $99 for food and lodging, this may be the cheapest overnight in NYC I've ever had!

When I retire, I hope to enjoy modern conveniences like air conditioning but also traditional Greeks like Zorba. (Odd choice of words for this caption is what I'm saying here. AI?)
