We have since done interviews with parents to explore their experiences and found:

- families experience lasting psychological, social and familial implications
-strong support for mainstream genomics driven by high trust in medical team
- access to GC added value to clinical care

Some amazing statistics about #eshg2025:
- 50% invited speakers are females!
-record number of abstracts submissions: 3,477 abstracts from 83 countries (but only 6% of abstracts accepted for orals)
- 6,881 participants!!! That’s a lot of genetics nerds 🧬🧬🧬

@cwallingford.bsky.social is off to a new role as a research data analyst at a not-fot-profit. As my first PhD student, it’s bittersweet to see Courtney go, but I’m so proud of the amazing researcher she has become!
