Inrin actually stumbled back in surprise, landing on the floor and staring as the dog circled Makimoto and sniffed him excitedly before rushing at Inrin to do the same.

"...is it really a dog?" She asked as she got up, still shaken.

But that didn't make sense either because the Crow Mother's home shouldn't have anything malicious behind it. Plus, the door leads to nowhere, it's literally bricked off-

More whines and scratching, and at that, Inrin opened the door a crack-

Immediately, it flung open and out came running—

Approaching the door, Inrin took in an inhale and turned the knob.

It was locked so it didn't make sense. None of it made sense.

If it was locked, it shouldn't have a portal. And if it shouldn't have a portal, the dog shouldn't be there. Hell, is it even a dog? What if something is posing as one?

Inrin paused, looking at the door in shock.

What was that? It sounded like a dog?

The whine was followed by scratching and soft barks.

"...I could have sworn that door is supposed to be closed completely." Inrin mumbled, suddenly tense and uneasy.

Why would a wolf dance with a tiger?

She isn't sure. She isn't sure what to do now.

She opened up her heart and suddenly, he turned it away, and it hurt.

Inrin grunted, suddenly restless—should she try again? Should she do something?

Then she got up, unable to truly get mad at him. Or maybe she's just naive? Or stupid?

So how does one gain the patience and kindness for such a person? Especially after he just threatened her?

So Inrin blocked their way, shaking her head, "Crow Mother, I do not blame you for hurting me but please, calm yourselves. Sir Makimoto and people of this world... You don't want them as enemies."

She nods at Jiaying's way too, sighing as she put a hand to her own abdomen.

Makimoto's orders, even if it sucks.

She recognizes the crow woman but not the brunette, who seemed like she wanted to rush for Denji...

Smells human yet not.

Either way, if they interfere now, it'll be worse for everyone and the world they came from will interfere.

Even gods will come down.

To Inrin and everyone else, the name was a garbled mess but still, the fact that the Crow Mother knows it—or atleast a semblance of it—threw the devilhunter off.

Still, she didn't let it stop her from doing her job, which was stop anyone from interfering, especially those from her world.

14.) She has ear piercings but if she were to have some more, she'd probably rather not. Other than it healing, she doesn't really want to have anything else marring her skin and body.

13.) She doesn't have tattoos but she'd like one to cover up the scar that starts at her collar bone and ends at her navel. So a full torso work that goes down in the middle of her chest and midsection. Maybe flowers or something like that would be nice.

12.) Quite a few but she's attached to the garden and cabin that was left to her by someone she deeply respects. Another is her owl mask but that, she's not sure of but she can't get rid of it at all.

11.) Honestly? They find the ones that can keep calm and collected, even in a tense situation, very attractive. The complete opposite of her and honestly, she finds those kinds of people very dependable. Smarts amd curiousity are also an addition that she finds charming!

10.) The time her sisters and cousins made fun of her freckles when she was a kid. It was so bad that her mother and father issued a coin that is carved in her image, freckles and all to commemorate her own beauty. That shut them up!

9.) All the deaths she went through until her soul is forced to be brought back. Even now, she's unkillable so each time she knows she's gonna die, she hopes it's atleast quick.
