Yeah, I'm probably pretty lucky in that I don't really ever need to commute and even if I did it would be more practical to commute via public transport since it's in the city. I tend to buy pretty new cars too so don't have too many issues.

Most places I can get to via public transport, it just takes like 2-3x the time

Aw that's really sweet to hear, my twin and I have known each other were furries since we were teen-agers. When we told our other sibling about it they ended up becoming one too.

Yeah I've been watching that pretty closely, looks very promising. Seems like some reviewers have recently got their hands on it so hopefully will get a more objective look soon

Yeah pretty much same, sort of sad this sets a dead end for base station based VR and tracking though. Still nothing out there that really matches it yet though.

It's definitely an upgrade for my quest 2, specs look really nice and I like not having to start using a cable. The lack of synchronisation with base stations is a little annoying but nothing in not used to

It's probably going to be like the quest where you have to use space calibrator and can strap a tracker to the headset for a more seamless experience. I don't think it's going to be terrible just more things than most people are used to doing.
