30 years ago my idea of a fun time was going to the club - drinking and dancing.
That version of me would never believe that someday my “fun” would be playing with my new pressure canner. 🤣🤣 I’m giddy over never losing turkey stock to the freezer burn gods ever again.

I didn’t find it. I don’t own the Vogue stitches book with ribbing so it might be in there. Closest I found was slipped rib. It was fun looking and a reminder that with all these books, I need to start substituting more creative stitches in patterns

This girl chose us too. She was only supposed to be fostered while she nursed her puppies but instead she gave us 10 of the best years of our lives. We lost her 7/3 and we’re still devastated (as I cry typing this). Rescues are the best.

I’m out of my favorite fall tea (must order some more) so I was drinking my second favorite. The creme brûlée is the main flavor profile. I did recently harvest and dry some spearmint for tea but never considered adding fruit syrup to it. Thanks for the idea

My parents started their path of fundamentalism the next year. Even at 7 I immediately rejected every patriarchal teaching tossed at me and I’m sure that badass, beautiful Princess played a large part in it.

Soon after we were married I saved up the money for a VHS Star Wars box set. I remember a few years later telling my little girl “I’m going to show you mommy’s favorite princess.” That girl is still obsessed and recently created a pre-watch list for me before I watched Ahsoka.
