Other parts of the world, too, but Eastern Europe definitely had it as a breath of fresh air for decades!Listening to RFE meant listening to the free world.

Creating strong passwords, and a different password for each website they have accounts on.
The password not to be their birthday/year.
Changing them often also helps.
Also, setting credit cards to ask for PINs every time they make a transaction/ pay.
