I have some pets.
While he's not breaking any records, Gogo is surprising me with how much he has grown already. Not yet two years old, and he's broken past 220 grams. For an insular leachianus, that's something.

Ready to put something in, but I'm not sure what quite yet. My local favorite exotic pet store closed down recently, so I'm waiting on an expo coming up before finalizing anything.
Where it's located, the enclosure is a bit too hot for New Caledonian species, so I've got some time to think.

Work in progress, new/reworked enclosure. Empty, for now. 18x18x24

Uncommon treat today with this fossorial tarantula hanging out in the open.

Dion, as compared to Gogo, has had a bit more of a bumpy road with his weight. Last weighed today at 47.37 grams, he tends to only really put on significant weight when he's allowed bugs. I've made those kind of feedings more rare lately to try and get him hooked on CGD, but it's a slow process.

Weight tracking for my leachianus gecko, Gogo. He's a mix between nuu ana, nuu ami (paternal side), and brosse (maternal side), so I really wasn't expecting this kind of growth - especially since he's picky and refuses insects.
I found graphing this fun. Starting point was at about 2 months' age.

Rarely do I get the chance to photograph Dion in a position where he's hanging out in the more colorful portions of his enclosure. More often than not, he's hidden or hanging on the glass while I'm awake. So, this picture felt special.

I just love gecko eyes.

I guess #skinktober exists.
Hastur, at 22 inches and ~670 grams, is my largest lizard (for now).
He's my best friend.

Rhacodactylus leachianus. He's full of soup.
Gogo is a combination of Nuu ana/Nuu ami on the paternal side, and Brosse on the maternal side. He's currently approximately 16 months old, just over 10 inches long (tip of the nose to tip of the tail), and roughly 180 grams.

Ruby is my cat I got from a foster home. She's super high maintenance. She won't go to the litter box by herself, doesn't know how to eat when I'm not around, but she also hates to cuddle. I'd kill for her. The baby picture came from her original owners, who couldn't provide for her any longer.

Marble is my Kenyan zebra skink. She's a bit of a mystery to me. She came to me with her tail nipped off by a sibling, as often occurs, or so I hear. Strangely, she hasn't regrown any tail length at all. I've documented cases where they do regrow, but just not her. Still, very cute.

My Rhacodactylus leachianus, or New Caledonian giant gecko, Gogo. He's about the same age as Dion, the crested gecko. Though, he weighs about 5x as much. He's a pretty regular leachianus, though he seems to be above average in size for an insular locale, despite refusing to eat bugs or other protein

I got G.G. (Girl Gecko) just as her baby pattern had all but disappeared. For murphy's patternless leopard geckos, they actually outgrow their spots. However, the secret is, G.G. has one leopard spot on one of her elbows.

I don't have any baby pictures of my tortoise, as he came to me via a somewhat odd route. Though, I've had him now for probably over 10 years. I sometimes wonder if he'll outlive me.

Dion is a yearling crested gecko. He's been a bit of a problem child, what with how he doesn't seem to like any kind of prepared diet - whether repashy or pangea. Though, he's much better for handling than some of my others.

This is Hastur, my Northern blue tongued skink. The first picture is when I first got him as compared to his current size. Presently at around 22 inches in length. I expect to have him around for another 15-20 years at least, originally purchased him back during lockdowns.
