I have a similar machine, same color, but no upper dial. Anyway it is a workhorse! Nothing has ever gone bad with it and the stitches are beautiful. Do make sure it gets a recent tune up before starting because old dried up oil can ruin the whole machine… wishing you beautiful fun sewing ahead

Im about to make this dress as well! I bought it to make in a tiny flower nylon for a 90s queer dance party while also planning to make it in all the fabrics in the future. I love how #twigandtaleis building a community too.
Your dress looks gorgeous any recommendations for making it?

I once tried to make the ducttape body form and immediately destroyed it because it made me so self conscious… I love how the use of fun fabrics really transforms it. It’s all in the eye of the beholder because when I see yours I think it looks beautiful and envy your upcoming sewing ease.
