Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein is finally out on Netflix! I actually saw it in the cinema a few weeks ago and was immediately hooked.

To celebrate the release I wanted to paint Jacob Elordi as del Toro's Creature in the style of The Fallen Angel by Alexandre Cabanel, so here it is :D

Happy October! I love when it gets to spooky season, I'm making the most of autumn at the moment with colourful leaf decor and plenty of pumpkin spice 🎃

I actually made this as a character reference for artfight in the midst of several heatwaves. I'm glad it's finally season-appropriate 😛

I want to get better at drawing and painting eyes, so I did a practice sheet of different eye shapes and skin tones from reference. I like how they all turned out!

I liked the outfit from this #drawyourocinthisoutfit meme by pichikeen so I put my oc in it! I gave him some boba tea instead of the water bottle because I thought the outfit suited a sweet treat 😛

Feeling so called out rn
Bad habit artist bingo 1- name written with the head rolling on the keyboard.png 2- thinks using reference is cheating 3- one million Works in progress 4- comes up with ideas, does nothing 5- forgot to sleep/eat... 6- the urge to draw in the most invonvenient times 7- crunched over deck like a gremlin 8- forgets own artstyle 9- nearly finished piece, hasn't saved the entire time 10- fuck, wrong layer 11- doesn't name layers 12- too hard on self 13- saves 100 tutorials, use none 14- backgrounds ? Don't know em 15- where is my pen/stylus 16- 100 empty sketchbooks 17- forgot to sign/watermark piece 18- stylus/pen death grip 19- zooms in focus on details no one will see 20- gets distracted in the middle of drawing with another idea 21- Hides hands to avoid drawing them 22- delicious anatomy, doesn't want to give character clothes 23- same face syndrome 24- forgot to flip the canvas

Last month I took part in sinixdesign's Chroma Corps daily prompts for the 4th year in a row (!) I really enjoyed this prompt for a 'mythological figure in a Mad Max setting' and decided to go with the Norse goddess Hel, a daughter of Loki who rules the underworld 💀👑
