That is one of the main reasons I read problematic authors as well. The only to learn to combat these harmful ideals is to understand and learn from and about then. Negative writings can also be insightful. Ive always felt like the only way to combat your enemy is to understand them. ✨

THIS! I am a thrift store queen✨ and while I am intrigued to read the works of certain problematic authors that are popularized, I do avoid supporting them financially. I have waited this long to read it cause I couldnt find all of them lol
