Nice take on the genre! I like the motivation of the combo meter, though I found the power bar a little too sensitive to enjoy. I set about making a similar Suika inspired game for learning opportunities. Using the Phaser engine helped handle mobile + desktop by default: bertleberry.itch.io/art-fall

It's a fair argument to state that Asteroid Slingers takes a warming to arcade gameplay. Perhaps we could spend simulation chips on singed hair?
