The "early" date is just the actual release date, because that's the day when it's out for consumers to purchase and play through official means.
So this means that you can pay full price for a game and then be blocked from playing it until 3 days after it's release date. 🙃

I can justify the price increase because Eaglemoss's strategy was clearly unsustainable. Fanhome need to charge more, but they also need to make a lot less of them so that they don't have a huge amount of capital tied up in inventory like EM did.

I didn't start collecting Eaglemoss ships until after they closed down and as I picked up ships through the liquidation sales I was kicking myself for not being subscribed back when the collection started. So the Fanhome sub gives me a 2nd chance to experience a ship subscription.
