maybe there’s a broader problem with internet consumption w.r.t. feeling the need to contribute to the void. does that have something to do with the human condition, or have we *been* conditioned into it? what makes us feel like our voices are important? intrinsic value is a funny concept

i’ve recently decided that to keep a social media account i need to have a direct purpose for using it, and generally stick to that purpose. instagram is for memes, twitter is to connect with people who enjoy the same hobbies, reddit for answers to questions, etc
