There HAS to be a level of personal responsibility. Having three kids can be a mistake if you don't have the means required - but five is a lifestyle choice.
Its not acceptable to just absolve all responsibility for these choices. There is no punishment here.

Since 2021/22 profit margins up by 21%.

I'd like to think that the relatively small amounts of compensation paid will end up being spent in local economies.
Positively impacting real people living real lives - not ending up on a bottom line for a foreign company paying as little tax as possible.
